Bengaluru, 30th September, 2017: Get ready to have an all-new, world class restaurant experience as McDonald’s launches its ‘Experience of the Future’ (EOTF) restaurants in Bengaluru! Patrons will now love to visit, indulge and relax at the re-designed and re-imagined restaurants where cutting edge technology meets best in class service.
The EOTF restaurants are designed keeping customer experience as top priority. Patrons will no longer have to wait in line to place an order, as they can place a customized order at the self operating kiosks. Moreover, the order will be served directly at the table – eliminating any need to wait in a queue! These restaurants will also offer air chargers, gaming tablets and free Wi-Fi along with a new and exclusive menu – Yes, that’s right!
The restaurant chain is also launching two exclusive products – potato wedges and chicken strips just for Bengaluru. These can be ordered with a special South Spice Mayo or the spicy hot pepper Sriracha sauce. This is in addition to the launch of 12 new products like Chatpata Naan, Phirni McFlurry, Cream and Onion French Fries, etc. launched under the ‘Flavours Without Borders’ campaign starting at just Rs. 49/-
Opening at prominent locations such as JP Central, ORR Central, Signature Mall and CMH Road, these EOTF restaurants will offer customers a fresh new décor, easy to read digital menu boards and specially curated experiences. The EOTF restaurants are designed to reduce the carbon footprint and the restaurant chain is all set to reduce water wastage by 50% with its new hand wash systems, electricity consumption by 20% with smart AC systems and saving up to 6,000 units of energy with the LED lighting!

o Enhanced Customer Experience
From hello to goodbye, our Guest Experience Leaders will help customers to choose between self-order kiosks or counter service, assist them with finding their seats, and provide table delivery service.
o Advanced Customer Convenience
The new self-order kiosks will give customers a modern and convenient opportunity to try their own hand at personalizing their order, at their own pace. Additionally, the various payment modes, high speed Wi-Fi, air-chargers and tablets will provide customers more convenience.
Enhancing its efforts in the area of sustainability, McDonald’s is installing smart hand wash systems which will enable the restaurant to save approximately 400,000 liters of water per year. Additionally, the restaurant will save up to 6,000 units of energy with the LED lighting. Besides this, the restaurant will use bio-degradable cutlery, reusable cups and recycle its waste with the vision to send zero waste to landfill.
o Wholesome Food Choices
For the first-time ever, McDonald’s India is launching farm fresh salads and transitioning its existing wraps into whole grain wraps. The consumer now has more variety, lighter and wholesome balanced choices. Additionally, customers will have the choice to opt for milk based beverages (chocolate milk, smoothies or shakes) with their Happy Meals or simply replace their fries with a bowl of salad!

Once an order has been placed, customers can take a seat and wait for their order, delivered right to their table.
